changing coasts
In this unit you will find out how the 12,429km coastline of the UK has been shaped by coastal processes.
You will find out how erosion, transportation and deposition at the coast can create a range of incredible landforms.
You will then investigate why some coastlines in the UK are disappearing at a rapid rate and what we can do to try and protect people and property in these areas.

coasts homework 3: climate change & coasts
Independent research is an excellent opportunity for all geography students to explore the wider issues and coastal places affected by climate change. The cartoons above hint at the two major issues threatening global coastlines, sea-level rise and coastal erosion. Use the instructions in the file below to create an eye-catching factsheet to raise awareness of the climate change threat to coasts. This is particularly relevant at the minute with the Climate Change Conference taking place at the moment in Paris.
